Macbook Pro Battery Exchange Program

I just acquired an original coreduo 1.83 ghz macbook pro. Its battery only lasts for about 15 minutes, which would qualify it for the exchange program for the original mbp battery. However, Apple ended the program almost a year ago. Has anyone had luck getting their battery replaced out of warranty? It has 230 cycles on it.

The easy answer would be no since they ended the program but it always doesn't hurt to ask.

Your battery need to fall within the requirements of the program.

The program ended on May 30, 2009 I believe. Could not find the link...
