Macbook pro battery issue?

I have a MBP which was running perfectly
i swapped the ram with 8gb, removed 4gb
after i rebooted the mac i noticed the it doesn't recognizes the battery
i am unable to find out why, can you guys please suggest me something
thanks in advance
