So I calibrated my MacBook Pro's battery and the health dropped from 86% to 57%. I have 219 cycles on it
Is that normal?

Yes. That's something that would concern me, and chances are AppleCare will be able to do something about it.

Theres nothing wrong with it. It doesn't magically drop from 86% to 57% just during calibration, its more likely to be something wrong with the software your using to monitor the battery health. Please don't tell me your using About This Mac or Coconut Battery...

I was using iStat, but now it says it's 59%
So I guess it's not reliable.

If it fails to improve on the 2nd calibration, give AppleCare a call and setup an appointment to have it replaced. (Also, check to see if it could be your magsafe charger that is acting up, since I had the battery and the magsafe charger replaced at the same time)....

wow that sucks. My 15" pb has 365 cycles and the health is 89%. Im bummed about all these bad battery posts cause im about to move onto a mbp in a few weeks

I will try and do that. And I don't think it's the mag safe. Everything is fine with it.

Don't let these posts scare you. People usually only make a thread on macrumors because they have a problem with their MBP. People rarely make a thread because they don't have a problem with their MBP. My battery in my unibody MBP is fine. 98% at 101 cycles.

So my battery's health magically went up to 74%. Hmm weird.
Hopefully it'll go back to the 80s range.
