So I purchased a macbook pro april of 2010. I believe it was refurbd but can't find the exact year my model was. This is what I could get from the old order: MBP 15.4/2.66/2X2GB/500/SD/GLSY-USA

So I few months back my screen started turning black randomly. I also have a 20 inch cinema display attached to my laptop. 8GB of ram. I am a graphic designer so I use a lot of processor intensive apps.

So anyway, I make an apple care appointment and they replace the logic board with no problem.

Fast forward to now, over the past week or so the problem has re-occurred. Previously I noticed that the screen generally went blank when switching spaces. Now it seems to go blank when downloading from chrome. I don't use any other browsers so I am not sure if this is chrome specific. I am going to test this out and use safari for a bit.

I am going to make another apple care appointment for next week but I am wondering if anyone else had their logic board replaced and the issue re-occur.

This is so frustrating especially since this is my work machine.

Thanks in advance.
