Macbook pro blackout

Hello,

This is a first time for me to buy a macbook ( i was a windows user ) and i bought a used macbook pro from Ebay 2010 model .

The problem is that while i'm working on my macbook the screen blackout and when i press any button i got a message that ( there is a problem happened and i need to restart my system ) .

i searched the forums for a solution and they suggested that i have to do SMC and i did that but the problem somehow still happened .

What is the other options can be done here ?

Are you running the OS that was on it when you bought it?

If you haven't done a clean re-installation...you should.

It's a known issue. Try running a software update, and if that doesn't work you'll need to bring your machine for servicing. See http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4088 for details.
