I just upgraded to a 2.2ghz 15 inch MBP yesterday. I installed the newest bootcamp and mac drivers with Windows XP SP2. I have it attached to an external Dell 24 inch LCD, external KB + mouse, but it wont run JUST the screen when the lid is closed. Is there anyway I can configure it so when the lid is closed and i wake it up, it runs ONLY on the LCD attached to the computer?

Have you looked under the Power Options Control Panel under Advanced tab? You should be able to set the behavior there.
