MacBook Pro caddy

Hello all,

I recently purchased this exact item found here:

But haven't installed it yet in a 2012 cMBP. I want to install it with an SSD. When I purchased the item I assumed this would work with an SSD at Sata 3 speeds.

So my question would be:

Are all caddys the same or did I make a mistake as i realize now that this one is labelled HDD?
