Hi All,

I have just receievd my new MacBook Pro today and I am trying to copy some stuff across the network from my old Mac to new but neither one can see the other. However I have another MacBook Pro in the house on the same network and I can see this one just fine.

Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Thank You for any assistance.

It turned out the two MBP's had the same local network address name. Just changed my old MBP to something different and it worked immediately.
