Macbook Pro/caps or plugs

Does anyone know if there are any caps or plugs for the macbook. the reason i ask is because i am in the military and going over seas. There is going to be a lot of sand were i am going to be and i want to minimize the amount of sand that gets in to my computer.

I think the pelican 1495 case would be your best bet. I have one and it's awesome. Waterproof, shock resistant, and it also has a pressure equalization valve along with a combination lock and the ability to add two more locks onto it. Here is a picture.

Yeah it's a super nice case. I recommend it to anyone that really wants to take care of there laptop.

Use some blue masking tape (blue does not leave residue behind). How about an iPad?

sorry that my first post wasn't what you were looking for I misread your post and thought you were looking for cases also.

I would go with gaffer's tape, like this specimen. That roll should last quite a while and there will be no residue even in extreme heat.

I would worry less about the ports on the side than the disc slot on the right and the vents in the back. You may want to bring the proper screwdriver with you so you can take off the bottom and properly clean out the machine on a regular basis.

Had this for my MBP and iPhone, definitely nice to have. Now that i look at the website it looks like they discontinued the item, too bad they were nice.
