Any ways to fix small dents on the surface of Macbook Pro cases?

I see this happens a lot on the display case. I'm wondering if I could tear down the machine and remove the outer case and kind of "push" the dent back out to improve it's appearance.

Most aluminum alloys are quite soft and do not cold work all that well. If you try to bend it back into shape, it may work, but the place the dent used to be will be weaker and is likely to remain slightly deformed.
