I am attaching images below. I have a late 2013 Retina MacBook Pro that I have been using for the past five years. As of lately the charger seems to spark when I plug it into the wall. The charger is in perfect condition, it is just the prongs that plug into the wall that detach and they have some marks and indents on them for some reason. I have since switched it with my iPad charger since I use that a lot less. I think it should be okay that I switched them because they both say on the back 2.5A 125V. I don’t have an Apple store near me but I do have an authorized reseller near me. Do you think they will replace this? I bet probably not. Just want some feedback if others have noticed this. Thanks. Also as you can tell this is the prongs that detach.
