I have a mid-2009 MBP and recently i been noticing a problem. When I close the clamshell the sleep light stays lit for a couple of seconds and then the apple symbol lights up for a few seconds. Eventually the apple symbol turns off and the sleep light stays lit for a few more seconds until finally it starts dimming like normal. Any idea what can be causing this? Im thinking it could be an app but im not sure.


also another question, is it normal when you boot up your MBP on a cold boot that my fans rpm is in the 2700 range? then sometimes it boots up in the 2000 range so that is why i find it odd. also I have smcfanconrol
