Macbook Pro - Coating peeling off?

Hello,

I have noticed some green tinted marks on my Macbook Pro. I've tried removing these using a micro-fibre cloth and cleaning tissues but nothing has helped. Does anyone know what these marks are caused by and how I can remove them?

I believe it is the coating on the screen that has been damaged somehow, I don't think there is a remedy.

I had seen a few posts on this (sorry I don't have the links was just in passing) on this forum. I think the consensus is that it is pieces of the screen coating peeling off? I know someone took it to Apple and they repaired it as a manufacturing defect. Are you still under AppleCare? Even if you're not covered, it might be worth a trip to the Apple store to see if they're willing to repair it.
