Hey guys,
My Macbook Pro is connect to my Mac Pro running Mac OS X with a ethernet cable.
I can see the Mac Pro fine in my Network section on the Macbook but anytime I try to access the folder it says I don't have sufficient privileges. I turned on file sharing on the Mac Pro but cant see where it is stopping the Macbook from having access.

Press the "Connect as" button at the right side of the Finder Window and log into the Mac Pro as the User you are using normally.

Hrm, shouldn't matter, lets check something else.
Go to the Sharing thing of System Preferences and go into Options of File Sharing, is AFP on? When you select the shared Folder, do you have read and write Permissions there too?
