Hello,
I am having this problem that randomly occurs when I log into World of Warcraft (not when I start the game, but when I chose the character and the loading screen appear).
My machine, a MacBook Pro (Core2Duo, 2.16GHz, 3GB ram) suddenly shuts down. No kernel panic. As if the machine has ran out of power. The machine is connected to an external power source by the way.

looking through the system.log I found:
Dec 8 21:23:10 Pyroblast de.jinx.SmartSleepDaemon[51]: SmartSleepDaemon: setting hibernation state to: 3
then, the last thing before the reboot was:
Dec 8 21:23:40 Pyroblast de.jinx.SmartSleepDaemon[51]: SmartSleepDaemon: setting hibernation state to: 0

then I get the usual boot info:
Dec 8 21:26:54 localhost com.apple.launchctl.System[2]: fsck_hfs: Volume is journaled. No checking performed.
...etc
until
Dec 8 21:26:59 localhost DirectoryService[11]: Improper shutdown detected

so far this happened 3 times, and it occurs randomly, I can reboot and run World of Warcraft just fine.

Thanks in advance!
