new here so please bear with me.

I have a 15inch Mid 2010 MCBP with 2.4GHz i5.

8GB of Ram which I updated in January myself.

I recently upgraded to OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion)

Since then whenever I take my computer from work to home or vice versa it crashes and restarts. Its fine moving the computer around at home. Im not Bear Grylls and dot't do any offroading :) and I didnt seem to have this problem before i upgraded the OS.

When I open the computer at my destination I get a sceen which says there was a problem and it needs to restart.

No this has never happened before. The computer has crashed but never with the screen explanation.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have searched other message boards but nothing recent.

Thanks MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion

Have you checked that your RAM is still connected properly and that your hard drive is in a good condition? They're the two main culprits I see of computers behaving oddly when moved.

Thnks. I know how to check the ram but how would I check the HDD?

Cheers
