macbook pro crashes when printing with Toshiba estudio 655se and 3540c

Hi,

I am having issues with Toshiba printers (estudio 655se and 3540c) and my macbook pro. My macbook crashes and closes the program the first time I send it to print. However, when I open the program up again and try to print a second time, I am able to print to them.

I just bought a new macbook pro with Lion and have an older one with Snow Leopard (10.6.8 - and I did just update it recently).

I can not find a solution anywhere. Is there a fix for the crashing issue?

Work Around

Hello,

For anyone else that might have the same issue. Since, the printers are on our office network, I solved my crashing issue by connecting directly to the printers' IP address.

Hope someone else finds this helpful.
