Since installing High Sierra on my 2016 TB MBP 13" I've noticed the following issues:
  • A black screen when waking from sleep (especially if the lid had been closed). Sometimes I am able to get it to "wake up" by touching some keys. Other times I have to press the power button, and then am able to login—but only with my password, not Touch ID.
  • Crashing after sleep. Over the past couple of days, it's completely crashing during sleep, so that I have to hold the power button down until it restarts. This happened 3 times yesterday.
What are my options here? I am considering:
  • High Sierra Combo Update (I didn't do this when I installed HS the first time)
  • Clean install of High Sierra from thumb drive
  • Reverting to Sierra
Anything else?

Have you tried an SMC and NVRAM reset?? That fixed mine when I had this issue a couple of years ago.

Thanks. Just tried that and startup seemed much faster afterwards, so hopefully that will do the trick.
[doublepost=1508426187][/doublepost]Well, it has woken from sleep twice without an issue, but Touch ID didn't work either time. I had to click on my username and enter the password.
