Hello there,

A couple of weeks ago I updated my Macbook Pro from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. Everything worked as it should for some weeks but now my system is crashing out of the blue. Everything freezes, except for the mouse. I'm using the same apps as I were before.

I've checked the CrashReporter folder but there are no logs there.

How can I diagnose the problem?

Many thanks in advance.

Are there certain apps that seem to cause the crash? Try to repeat the problem and attempt to isolate an app that is causing the issue (if there is one). Just pay close attention to what you are doing when the crashes happen.

If you know what app is causing the issue it will be much easier to resolve.
