Hi

Does anyone know if its possible to get "dark mode" on the web browser Safari?

MacBook Pro, OS Mojave 10.14.06

Most likely what you think you mean is for content inside the Safari window to be dark, since the window chrome will follow the system display mode in any case.

If the web site author does not implement any of the tags necessary to find out the behavior of the browser, there are extensions that will simply invert the web site content.

That all seems somewhat convoluted in simply trying to apply a dark theme across the board on a web browse, i take it then Safari does not support this feature?

I'm not aware of any browser that does. How exactly do you think this should work, if the site does not provide and use tags indicating the theme? What else would a browser be able to do, other than just invert the colors?
