My non unibody macbook pro died with the cd inside, it was my snow leopard and i want to get it out any idea? I have hold the startup button for like 2 minutes and its just totally black.

Does it show any signs of life when you turn it on? If it doesn't, you may have to disassemble it to get the disc back.

Do this, with the machine off press the power button. Then as soon as you hear the chime, press and hold the trackpad button until the disc is ejected. That will always eject the disc unless there is a hardware problem.

Thank you! The Trackpad trick did it!
