Hey guys i have a issue with my MacBook pro, i am running it with a external monitor and on occasion when only the monitor goes to sleep and not the MacBook when i wake up the monitor the screen is all static or snowy i just have to turn the monitor on and off to fix this. i am just curious if this is a hardware issue on the MacBook or a software issue with it and should i take it back to apple

I've noticed my display goes funny sometimes, when coming out of sleep. Hoping OS X 10.6.2 will fix this.

To save you turning the display off, press CTRL+SHIFT+EJECT.

so i am guessing its jus a software problem and no need to take it to the apple store right?
