Hello, I was hoping that someone could help me with this issue that I am having. I have a mid 2010 MBP 13 inch running Yosemite. The clutch cover was cracked so I ordered a new one, also the lid hinges were a tad loose. I was excited to get these issues fixed. I took my time and carefully tightened the hinges and replaced the clutch cover. Being proud of my work I decided to turn it on. I can hear it post but the display didn't light up. I examined my work and double and triple checked everything was connected. I can see the display is working by shining a light through the apple logo but not lighting up.

Note: I had not powered up the computer for a few weeks before the repair so cant be 100 percent sure that it worked right before the repair.

I went to the mac store and the tech said most likely not the logic board but LED was bad. I ordered another display that was "tested" as working. The exact same thing, I can see the display is working by shining a light through the logo but it does not light up.

I am running out of things to try, did I miss something? Maybe during the repair I pressed some keys to disable the display? Could it be OS related?
