That must be the sexiest laptop I've ever seen.

Yeah, take it off, baby!

Those fans look big though.

Edit: What's that white thing in the middle? The big one.

Double edit: :p That's the hole made from removing the battery. My bad.

The HDD and optical drive look nice and accesible, more so than my iBook. How does that compare to the 'old' P'Books?

I'm surprised that Apple allow green memory cards in their computers. It clashes with the blue.

AAARGH!!!

You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!

Why did they do that? Can they put it back together really well and send it to me? I want an MBP but these guys bought one and tore it up before my eyes.

MANIACS!!!

a tear fell from my eye when i looked at them pictures:mad:

nutters

:) but they put it back together again and it worked , i wonder if they got Apple Care for that macbook

Where's the second speaker?

Edit: Let me rephrase that. If the speakers are the black circular rubber-looking things. What is the green circular thing attached to the speaker grill?

I have no idea, really, but I'm guessing it's the ambient light sensor.

The power button.

I believe that OWC is an Apple Certified Tech center, no? Either way they are professionals, I doubt they harmed it in any way and once it was back together I bet you couldn't tell it had been dissected.

The DVD drive is specially designed to Apple's specifications... which meant Apple cheaped out on us! No dual layer specified! :p

Where's the CPU?

Is it this thing? If so, that certainly looks upgradeable... or is it somewhere else and I'm just not seeing it?

I think that's probably the wireless card.

I think this is the wireless card... with the two wires (antennae?) leading to the back of the case:

I don't see any other candidates. It's the only thing with a decent cooling solution (if that's a heat-pipe we're looking at)

Ah, I didn't see that. You're right, of course., those connectors are more like I would expect for the antennae.

Atari, I believe that that is the track pad.

Looking at it the CPU and GPU are probably mounted on the other side of the motherboard that you don't see.

I believe Atari was correct that it was the wireless card. You are probably correct, the CPU is mounted on the bottom side of the mobo. As iGary points out, the silver enclosure to the right of the wireless card is the proper size and shape to be the CPU, but I think it's on the bottom because if that was covering the top I don't think it would be properly vented.
