MacBook Pro distorted colors on projector through HDMI

I'm getting strange color distortion from my MBP 2015 when I connect it through HDMI HDMI to a Epson EMP-TW700, looks like an animated filter over the image. It works great from my MBP 2010 using a MiniDisplay-adapter.

I've tried various color profiles in the Display settings but it doesn't help.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Solution / Problem solved:
I had to modify the system to force RGB, I followed this guide and it works fine now.
