I'm about to pull the trigger and buy a Macbook Pro (i don't care that there's an update coming this summer - i've played the apple waiting game before and it ain't fun.)
I am concerned by the number of common problems people seem to be having with the latest MBP's (audio, display etc.) and i'm wondering whether there's any relationship between upgrading components like the hard drive and increased problems. It's hard to tell by scanning the forums, since people don't always mention options in their sigs.
So what do you think? Is there any connection?
Does upgrading vs just buying the off the shelf version have any affect on the problems people are experiencing?
