Macbook pro does not sleep

Hi guys,

I just noticed a problem in the last 2 days. My macbook bro does not go to sleep when I close the screen. Usually when I close the screen, I see the small light on the right is blinking but now it does not any more and I hear the fans are working.

I need your help guys because I really did not change anything in the setting. I searched the net and I did everything I know but could not fix it.

Please, help.

Have you installed any new apps recently?

You could try to reset the SMC: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964

Had a similar problem last year. I just reset the SMC as thundersteele is suggesting, and that fixed the problem.
