MacBook pro doesn't load certain pages on google chrome

Alot of webpages don't load properly on my google chrome. But if i fresh the restore button they will load up. For example I am on facebook and I click my profile, all that shows up is a white page, but when i refresh the page it loads up. same with some youtube vidoes. and when i click certain links that should open up a new window, nothing happens
