I isharan macrumors member Original poster Jun 3, 2009 52 0 Aug 16, 2009 #1 Hey all, I bought a MBP this February. For some reason, it won't go to sleep if I close the lid -- I have to manually go to the apple menu and press sleep. Any ideas? I tried a clean install, still no luck. Thanks.

Original post said a clean install was done but it did not fix the issue.
