Hi there

I have a MacBook Pro 2.2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB memory, and I´m experiencing problems with video playback. When Im playing DVDs from my harddrive, the video is lagging, maybe every 10 secs the video/sound hangs for a tiny sec before continuing. Anyone has any idea what the problem might be? I have run the Activity monitor and I have a lot of inactive cpu and memory resources, so I would believe thats not problem.

I now discovered that the actual problem is that Im running video files from my external harddrive. I have a WD MyBook 500gb, and its connected via USB and uses usb 2.0 (which it also says in System Profiler). Its formatted ntfs-3g. So the speed is obviously slow.. How can I fix this?

Thanks!
