I just bought my first mac, a macbook pro 15" from february 2011. I installed windows 7 ultimate edition and installed all the drivers that boot camp installs. The driver for audio is called Cirrus Pro CS4206A. When in Windows, when I plug in headphones into the headphone jack, the speakers remain on and nothing comes through the headphones, save for the sound it makes when you turn the volume up or down. If I want to get sound through the headphones I have to set it manually in each application. Are those the correct drivers?
The version of boot camp I used was the one that cames with 10.7 osx lion, so perhaps it is a Lion issue or something?
EDIT: There is also the "High Definition Audio Device" driver, which is microsofts default driver. Should I uninstall the cirrus one and try just using that one?
