I am trying to fix my sisters Macbook Pro early 2011, that has issue turning on.
First, it wouldn't turn on at all. I removed the backplate, and could not see any visible damage at the motherboard. I unplugged the battery, and the Macbook now turns on. The Macbook also stays on, when the battery is plugged in while still turned on, and can the run solely on battery power.
The battery perforce is still all-round pretty good.
The weird thing is also, that the keyboard partially doesn't work. Well, yes, the computer knows i'm pressing keys, because it makes sounds, but there is no input on the screen.
I'm quite puzzled with this issue, and i can't seem to find any issue on the internet that is related to the keyboard thing. What might be wrong?
