MacBook Pro EMERGENCY ALARM

Ok, so I was exporting 4 1080p videos at the same time when a loud alarm started. This was 100% a hardware emergency alarm that was coming from the mac. The screen froze and i had to force shutdown my Mac.

My specs are: 2011 13 inch base MBP model, 2.3 i5 dual, 8gb ram, samsung 830 128gb ssd.

Any idea what hardware component was causing this alarm and what was it?

Perhaps the GPU got too hot.

Hmm... probably, anyway, since I have an i5 sandy bridge CPU, the GPU is actually integrated in the CPU. So then, I guess the CPU got too hot thanks to the GPU use.
