Hi i have a 2.16 Ghz Macbook Pro with 2 Gb of ram. I use it mainly for recording music with Logic Pro. I recently went to the energy savings tab in system prefs and put each one on better performance even though it seems that the normal setting is fine i just wanted to see the difference. When i did this it just turned my Macbook Pro into a $3000 shiny retard box. The fans were always on and after a while i couldn't open certain apps after clicking on them repeatedly. Anyone know why this could be and is there any benefit to using better performance mode?
