Hi,

I messed up my external monitor settings on a 2020 Macbook Pro 13 inch.

I switched from 60 Hertz refresh rate for the external monitor to 72 and the display stopped showing the picture.
It only works in a mirrored mode now. When I switch to the mirror displays, I change the setting back to 60 hertz. Disabling the mirror displays, switches off the external monitor and the refresh rate setting is not available, so I can't change it.
It looks like the refresh rate setting is switching back to 72 by itself.

Is there any way i could reset the external display settings? Maybe a command code or smth?

Is there a way to do a "factory reset" on the display?
(using the controls ON THE DISPLAY -- not on the Mac)

The issue has been resolved by switching the HDMI ports on the display.
