Hi all, I have a mid 2009 macbook pro 2.8/9600 gt with a faulty lcd board connection. I purchased a new external monitor & dvi adapter so I could still use the mac in clam mode. The external monitor works fine booting into mac os, but booting into windows I'm met with a black screen after the windows logo. I'm unable to change any settings within windows as I cannot see anything and also the normal winkey + p shortcut doesn't seem to be working.

I'm using the latest nvidia drivers, but If I uninstall them and allow windows to use generic vga drivers I can boot into windows. I've tried different combinations of drivers and had no luck.

Is there any way I can set the external monitor to primary in safe mode/registry etc?
