Biggest performance upgrade you can do. Although if it's randomly been really slow lately you should solve that first. What does the activity monitor say?

O OldGuyTom macrumors regular Sep 6, 2013 156 33 US Jun 2, 2014 #4 Get to the root of the problem first. Typical causes: 1. Too little RAM - check it with Activity Monitor 2. Too little disk space - get rid of stuff you don't need, empty trash 3. Too many apps left running - close those not being used Cheers.
