hey people, so i log into facebook probably like yesterday and i realize my status box in my home page is gone! no status box at all! have this ever happened to anyone or know how to fix this? i know this isn't about a mac but i didn't know where else to find answers and i would appreciate it very much

Go to Safari --> Reset Safari.

yeah the status box in my facebook page is gone on both i think it has something to do with some of the settings maybe

Clearly if it is happening on two different machines with different OSs and different browsers it is either a fault of the website or a fault of the user.
Your hardware is doing just fine.

Not sure if you're talking about your status box on your profile or the status box that allows you to type your status? The one at the top is my HOME and the one at the bottom is my PROFILE....
