I'm having trouble with my macbook pro.

first, is the middle macbook pro 7.1 2010 2.4 ghz core 2 duo with mountain lion 10.8.4, and last EFI and SMC update

the battery does not work, and no charge.

I removed the battery, did smc reset "cmd + alt + **** and 15s power, and power again, and mac reconnected.

problems:

overload the cpu fan is at all time

backlight for the keyboard does not work

I've tried several SMC reset, and reset NVPRAM, and does nothing to change these symptoms.

I've tried running the hardware test, on boot press alt + D and says, this computer doesn't support hardware check test.

This is normal to happen mac to work without battery, it may be another fault?

regards

Is your laptop under any kind of protection plan still?
For the battery issue, whats the cycle count and what does the system profle say of your batteries condition?

Do check in activities if any app is hogging your cpu. You did not state what temperatures you cpu is at. What happens when you try to increase of decrease the keyboard backlight? over this do check in system preferences > keyboard.
If you do have protection plan i would suggest that you take the laptop in.
