Hi, I recently purchased a water damaged Macbook Pro 13 Early 2015. I cleaned the logic board and to my surprise, was able to get the computer to boot. However, the fan does not spin at all, even when the heatsink is fairly hot. I haven't run the computer for more than 15 seconds but based on my experience with older Macbooks, the fan should spin as soon as the computer is turned on. Is that the case with these newer models? Thanks in advance.

According to iStat and smcFanControl, the fan in 2015 13" rMBP doesn't spin until the CPU is stressed and a certain temperature is reached. I've never opened it up to confirm the fan isn't spinning though.
