Hi,
I have a MacBook Pro that i got last year (2007) and so i still have firewire which when you plug a video camera in with firewire it opens up iMovie which i love using.
I understand that the new ones that came out this year have USB2 that opens up iMovie.
I have a harddrive video camera that works with USB2 but at present i have to change my mac to pc option on the partitioned harddrive so that i can see my video's.
Are they going to bring out a firmware for laptops like mine so that either firewire or USB2 will open up and be able to use iMovie as i can't afford to buy a new laptop plus still prefer firewire by far.
