Macbook Pro Firmware Problems

I recently just reformatted my macbook pro, however,
the boot rom version is MBP21.00A5.B01
and the SMC is 1.14f5
although I ran the software updates it still wont update to the current version of B03 and SMC 1.2f10,
I also tried to manually install them but my macbook says my computer is up to date, what should I do to update my boot rom and SMC?

17" Core 2 Duo? Let me guess, those updates don't show up in Software Update. That's because YOU HAVE THE NEWEST VERSIONS OF BOTH.
