MacBook Pro for a newbie starting a company.

I am very good with windows based systems and am starting a web/software design company. I want to get a MBP for development work and stuff. Is the basic 13" powerful enough for Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Parreles running windows for visual studio, Final Cut Studio, iPhoto. I will upgrade the memory and have a bigger external monitor.
