Hi guys!

My old Asus F556U laptop is now almost dead and I think is about time to make the transition from Windows to MacOS.

My actual laptop has i7-6500u, 15,4" screen and a GeForce 920M. It was good for a few months, but when I started my MA in Graphic Design, I began to get in trouble with continuous freezing moments, slow workflow and a lot of problems with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and also Lightroom. Let's not talk about Premiere which is almost unusable.

Right now I have two huge doubts:

1. I should choose a 13" or a 15"? My budget is not so high, and I would buy the computer by payment by instalments, but I would like to know if it would be possible to have a good workflow with fewer inches of screen.

2. Buy 2017 model or the new one? The price is of the base 15" MacBook Pro 2018 model is almost like three and a half months of my salary. I know the new processors are a vast improvement from the 2017 model, but I don't know if a save of almost 300€ is enough for an old model.

- MacBook Pro 2018 13" base model (Intel Core i5 2,3GHz - 8 GB Ram - 246 GB SSD - Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 = 1.919,00 € (Spain) = 2246,69$

- MacBook Pro 2018 15" base model (Intel Core i7 2,2GHz - 16 GB Ram - 256 GB SSD - Radeon Pro 555X 4GB = 2.689,00€ (Spain) = 3147,71$

- MacBook Pro 2017 15" base model (Intel Core i7 2,8Ghz - 16 GB Ram - 256 GB SSD - Radeon Pro 555 2 GB = 2.399,00€ (Spain) = 2807,19$

I have two huge scholarships for the next so I would love to have a computer that can follow my
rhythm.

Thanks, guys I appreciate your help.
