Hi there,

I was wondering if the MacBook Pro that would released in summer for Lion OS X would have any new hardware feature?

When I bought my Mac last time, two months later, the new lines of Macs came out (not just basic CPU update, but rather the multi-touch support on the track pad!).

I'm thinking of buying a new Macbook Pro, but I want to wait if the new ones would be very different!

Thanks
Kousha

Before anyone else walks into this thread and punk slaps you, I will say that no one knows...The rule of thumb is if you NEED it now, buy it now, otherwise just wait.

You will see what I mean.

as said about 300 times today....there will most likely be a "major" update within the next couple months. maybe sooner rather than later

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-gb) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

Just mgoogle it. About 10,000 threads on it.

most likely lion will be released after the mbp update. my prediction is that mbp will be early march cause dual core sandys are released in feb.

btw i think ive seen about 4-6 of these threads created every day. awesome

I would wait until the 2011 one is out they might add light peak to it according to rumors.

With the new MP out, do you think there will be an upgrade this summer for MP?

There was all that rumor regarding larger trackpads (giving that OS X Lion is suppose to incorporate more "touch"). So is there a belief that a mac with larger trackpad is due this summer?

Unlikely hardware update this summer for the MacBook Pro.

Maybe they'll update the MacBook Air to support the new features.
