MacBook Pro freezes and restarts when USB device is connected

So I have a MacBook Pro 2017 running macOS 10.14.6 connected to a Caldigit TS3+ Dock. Until recently everything has worked fine, but now every time I connect one of my USB 3.1 drives to the USB 10gb port on the TS3+ my MBP freezes and restarts. I’ve tried resetting the SMC and the NVRAM, reinstalling macOS, and replacing the TS3+; however the issue persists.

Any ideas or advice?
