MacBook Pro froze yesterday

Hello everyone,

I just recently bought the 13" MacBook Pro. Last night I was updating my wordpress.com blog and all of a sudden it just froze. It would not type, no response whatsover. I had to press the on/off button to make it shut down...

Any thoughts? I'm hoping it's not haywire!!!!!!!

If you have not done so already, update the system software via Apples online update system. There is an issue that sounds just like what you are experiencing. The software update is being offered now to fix that.

My MBP just did the same a few weeks ago...turned out to be a failing hd which I promptly backed up and replaced. Not saying the same applies to you, but you may want run a surface scan of your drive.
