Hello, dear forum members. I am new here, but I am wondering what is going on?
I just received this one:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)
2,2 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

And guess what? When I load Dota 2 (That's just DotA, that's nothing like Crysis on ultra graphics, is it?) my cpu load goes up to 140%. It's constantly not lower than 85% and I can feel the heating. I definitely can feel it in my fingers when typing. And that's just a game running on background from the main menu, nothing special. Ah, almost forgot to mention that the graphics are on "fastest" mode which means that should not consume any Cpu at all.
I have a horrid 8GB of ram i5 HP laptop which runs it on full graphics perfectly and only consumes like 20% of CPU. What is going on? This is ridiculous. If anyone could give me an insight to what is going on I would be really grateful

Open up the Activity Monitor app on your mac and have a look around there for unusual activity.
