My MacBook Pro monitor goes to sleep while using the DVD Player application.

Has anyone else had this happen? It has happened twice for me in the last 2 weeks. I'm not all that worried abut it but I am curious to see if anyone else has had this problem. Maybe it is a bug that Apple will fix in the next installment of 10.5.

Either way the solution for this is to just move the mouse to wake the screen up. Then the MBP realizes that it is in DVD mode and doesn't go to sleep.

Have you checked your Power management settings? System Preferences>Energy Saver?

The last time I changed anything in the Energy Saver Preferences was months ago and I have watch many DVDs since. Though just a couple of weeks ago this odd behavior started.
