MacBook Pro gone crazy PLEASE HELP

I bought a used MBP on eBay in March....everything worked fine until today......I put it in the case while still on and went about to mile for my home for a business meeting. I got there and it would not come on imediately once i got it to come on......my airport card wasnt working...i tried to restart and now it will boot and the only icon that appears is the hard drive and that icon goes on and off....this is crazy.....can someone please help????

Sounds like there is a hardware problem with the HD. Is it still under warranty?

You could try some testing to diagnose the problem but it would be easier to take it to a genius.

If you have the original disks, you could try booting into apple hardware test.

no warranty.......i just brought it to the apple store and hopefully they can fix it
